    Professionally known as Soulplusmind, Dennis has produced music for a wide variety of television networks: HBO, Showtime, ABC, NBC, MTV, VH1, Fox Sports, CBS, and more and has worked with such artists as Method Man, Gyptian, Jo Mersa Marley, Damian Marley, Tom Rhodes, and more. His accomplishments included music placed in a Nissan, Maybelline, Afterpay, and TJ Maxx ad, Shameless, Power, Life In A Year, The Florida Project, among others as well as a variety of sports programming. As a founding member of Amerge, Dennis brings a track record of landing thousands of placements and a holistic understanding of where music and commerce intersect.

    Olivia Schlichting is a music supervisor passionate about storytelling. Her credits include series Better Call Saul, Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches, Poker Face, Your Honor, Space Force, Netflix's Cowboy Bebop, feature film Glorious, among others. As an active member in the sync community, Olivia also serves as the Organizing Committee Liaison for the Guild of Music Supervisors. She can often be found biking or swing dancing around LA, plus advocating for the unionization of music supervisors.

    Levi Downey, a music producer and web3 builder, is a founding member of Amerge. With a successful track record of producing music for notable shows like CBS's All American, The 4400, and Disney+’s Bluey, Levi is well-versed in creating content that resonates with audiences. As the Executive Producer of Chaos Radio and a key contributor to Billboard’s #1 Music NFT project in June 2022 (chaos.build), Levi is at the forefront of the web2 and web3 music convergence. Levi's passion for community building extends beyond the digital space as an active volunteer for the Music Needs Supervision unionization efforts.

    Coolhandrew, bka Trew, not just your run-of-the-mill musician, songwriter, and voiceover actor, but an artist with a passion for breaking the mold. Hailing from Virginia, Trew has dedicated the last two decades to the entertainment industry, infusing it with his fresh and inventive ideas. Trew is the go-to for top-rated marketing companies and leading record labels seeking music, voiceovers, and ideas for their latest projects. His work has left an indelible mark, with his music featured in ads, movies, and TV shows, including notable placements in All American, 4400, Under the Silver Lake (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), and The NBA, among others.

    Collaborating with industry titans like Ski Beatz, Nottz, and Mark Henry, Trew's journey in the entertainment world has been marked by exciting encounters.     Ashley Young, an up-and-coming music supervisor, brings her creative vision and passion for music to Amerge. With experience at GrandSon Creative and the Guild of Music Supervisors, she has honed her skills in managing music cue sheets, facilitating creative processes, managing high volumes of music cue sheets in Avid Media Composer, facilitating the creative process for projects, and overseeing licensing requests for the in-house SFX catalog label, Analogue Future. As a founding member of Amerge, Ashley's dedication to supporting both music makers and music placers will be instrumental in revolutionizing music licensing and fostering a sustainable, collaborative ecosystem for all members involved.

    Tiffany Ou

    MUSIC OPERATOR

    Tiffany Ou has been a graphic designer for 15+ years, specializing in information architecture (UI/UX), brand identities, as well as multi-platform design and production. She has extensive experience working within both start-ups as well as global corporate environments — covering a wide range of clientele industries, including technology, finance, hospitality, entertainment, and creative services. She has also been in the Web3 space since 2015, contributing to various projects ranging from privacy-driven technology and blockchain scalability to DAOs and creative community building.

    Dylan Kane-Ritsch has had a long-standing fascination with the digital frontiers of music. He works at Neophonic, one of the most successful and respected music supervision firms in the industry. Neophonic provides music services for HBO’s entire scripted slate and supervises TV shows and movies for every major studio and television network. He is currently working on projects such as Harry Potter (2026), The Conjuring 4 (2025), and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2025), and has worked on numerous award-winning programs including The Sympathizer (2024), Full Circle (2023), and Succession (2023).

  • Mindy Dinh - Music Supervisor and founding member of Amerge

    Mindy Dinh

    Mindy Dinh is a Vietnamese-American music supervisor/coordinator based in Los Angeles. Being mentored by well-respected director/producer/music supervisor Jonathan McHugh led to her current role as the music coordinator at Score a Score where her credits include the film I Love My Dad (winner of the 2022 SXSW Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award), Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers (Hulu), Shaq (HBO Max), and Bud Light Next’s 2022 Super Bowl spot. Mindy's also on the Online Communications team at the Guild of Music Supervisors, is a part of the Asian American Collective mentorship program, and involved with the music supervisor unionization efforts. She continues being involved in both the sync and AAPI community in LA, with the goal of combining the two worlds in her music supervision journey. Her deep understanding of the intricacies involved in music licensing makes her an invaluable asset to the projects she works on and to Amerge's mission of revolutionizing the music licensing landscape.

    Knowa Lazarus is ½ of the super duo music group “Q-York”. He was born and raised in the birthplace of Hip-Hop New York, NY (Queens, NY to be exact) and through his journey he has evolved into a multi-faceted singer / songwriter, performer and producer.

    Endorsed by FIBA 3X3 he tours around the world as MC the international street basketball tournament and made history as the first ever MC for 3X3 basketball at the Tokyo 2020 & Paris 2024 Olympics.

    Damon Turner is a recording artist, Cultural Architect, and entrepreneur who creates sounds, experiences, and initiatives that envision and build a world fit for thriving. Damon has taken his brand of "trap heals" all over the globe, performing on stages virtually and live from Atlanta to Los Angeles, San Francisco to the UK. When he's not making music and turning up on stage, he's running his creative agency @trap.heals , which is committed to bringing economic equity to the most marginalized communities in the world.

    Alex Glancy is a partner and founding attorney at GGH LLP, where she practices transactional law. Alex advises startups, social enterprises, impact-oriented companies, and creatives. She focuses in the areas of corporate structuring and governance, fundraising, business transactions, and intellectual property.

    Alex leads the firm’s intellectual property (IP) practice. She counsels on copyright and trademark matters for entrepreneurs and creatives, including negotiating, reviewing, and drafting IP-related contracts of key importance to clients’ IP portfolios. She has represented graphic designers, visual artists, and producers in these areas.

    Alex graduated from Harvard Law School, where she participated in the Community Enterprise Project. She holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from Northwestern University in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS) and Anthropology. Prior to joining GGH LLP, she worked at the Arts Law Centre of Australia, the Office of the General Counsel of New York University, and at a global law firm.

    Growing up as a Japanese-American in Los Angeles, Reed Izumi found his passion for music on an old upright piano at the age of six. Detail and musicianship are at the forefront of Reed Izumi’s life. A multi-instrumentalist on the piano, drums and trombone, his recognition includes performances and collaborations with the likes of: Lonr., T-Pain, Lupe Fiasco, Kollaboration and The Artist Intelligence Agency. He also received an honorable mention in the R&B category of the International Songwriting Competition for Crave You. As a record producer/composer Reed specializes in innovative pop, hip/hop and R&B music for a plethora of varied musical acts.

    Brodie Conley (he/him) is a music industries worker and artist living in Ottawa, ON. He has worked across a variety of areas including research, artist management and community music initiatives, as well as in program and policy development within government.

    He is currently the operations and governance lead at Water & Music, a research and intelligence network for the new music business, where he works on projects exploring the intersections of music and technology.

    In the past, Brodie was an artist manager with Kelp Management, where he supported the careers of multiple Canadian artists (Andy Shauf / Lido Pimienta / Ada Lea / Foxwarren). He also worked as the Festival Manager for the annual MEGAPHONO Music Festival and Conference, which brought music industry professionals to Ottawa, and provided an opportunity for local and regional artists to expand their reach, cultivate new knowledge and catalyze export opportunities.

    Brodie is and continues to be a motivated advocate for the Canadian independent music community and hopes to continue to work on and support new opportunities and knowledge development for emerging and underserved artists across Canada.

    Kinney, a singer, songwriter, dancer, who, at the core of it all, builds her art and music on contemplation, hoping to bring the listener into deeper connection with themselves and the world around them. Megan is also the founder and co-owner of sync licensing agency and record label, Bad Owl Collective with dozens of high-profile placements including Nordstrom, The Sak, Fender, and many more. As a founding member of Amerge Kinney brings a depth of experience in both the artist and management sides of the music business.

  • Jonathan Zalben - Music Supervisor and founding member of Amerge

    Jonathan Zalben

    Jonathan Zalben creates compelling soundtracks for picture drawing on his decades-long experience in music, film, television, and media art. He studied violin and music composition at Juilliard Pre-College, Yale, and NYU. Zalben's media art has been viewed at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, MASS MoCa, Boston Public Library, Sony Wonder Technology Lab in New York City, and art galleries around the world. He won an award for his media art collaboration, Compound Pilot, at SXSW.

    Film/TV credits include the Oscar-nominated film Redemption (HBO) directed by Jon Alpert and Matthew O'Neill, Alone (NY Times Op-Doc) directed by Garrett Bradley, which won the Sundance Jury Award and was shortlisted for an Oscar, There's Something Wrong With Aunt Diane (HBO) directed by Liz Garbus, On Pointe (Disney+) directed by Larissa Bills, Just Before I Go (Starz) directed by Courteney Cox, and No Way Jose (Sony Pictures) directed by Adam Goldberg.

    Jonathan McHugh an independent film and TV producer/director/music supervisor & educator who has held high ranking creative and marketing positions at some of the biggest entertainment companies like New Line Cinema/Warner Films, Zomba/Sony Films & Music & Def Jam Films/Universal Music over the past few decades.

    McHugh has produced over 35 films and TV shows with some of pop culture’s biggest stars including Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Janis Joplin, Snoop Dogg, Muhamad Ali, Ludacris and Motley Crew‘s Tommy Lee and shows like Sun Records.

    McHugh has music supervised and produced soundtracks for over 100 visual media projects including the Saw film series, The film and Starz TV show Blindspotting and the animated Freak Brothers starring John Goodman & Tiffany Haddish.

    McHugh is an Emmy member, Producers Guild Documentary jury member, a former Grammy Trustee and President of the LA Chapter and is the co-founder of the Guild of Music Supervisors.
